01.

Common process types

1.Screen printing/transfer printing

Transfer ink to the surface of the cup through a screen or transfer head, suitable for patterns with clear lines and distinct color blocks. The finished product is wear-resistant and has strong adhesion.


2.Water sticker/water transfer printing
Stick the soaked flower paper onto the cup surface, scrape off the bubbles, let it dry naturally, and then bake it at high temperature to fix the color. It is suitable for mass production of complex patterns.


3.Heat transfer printing

4.High temperature roasted flowers

02.

Core production process

A. Pattern design and color separation plate making
Use design software to create monochrome or multi-color patterns, separate colors and create corresponding printing plates.


B. Substrate processing

C. Printing and transfer printing
Choose screen printing, water transfer printing or heat transfer printing according to the process, and multi-color patterns need to be overlaid multiple times and accurately aligned.

03.

Key technical control points

1. Temperature management
The baking temperature should be about 20 ℃ lower than the softening point of glass. If it is too high, it will cause the pattern to burn or the cup to deform. If it is too low, the ink will not be fully melted.


2. Multi color overlay accuracy
Color printing requires precise alignment and color matching, with an error controlled within 0.1mm, otherwise the pattern may become blurry or misaligned.


3. Drying rate
The heating stage should be slow (such as heating in stages from room temperature to 450 ℃) to avoid ink bubbles or glaze defects.

04.

Quality risk control

 

1. Pre treatment:

The soaking time of flower paper should not be too long, and water vapor and air should be thoroughly removed when scraping.


2. Environmental control:

The operating environment should be kept dry, as high humidity can easily cause stickers to explode.


3. Cooling process:

After baking, it is necessary to cool slowly in sections to prevent stress concentration inside the glass from causing cracking.
