Kiln firing

Kiln firing is a very time-consuming step. The time process is about one day and night, and the temperature is about 1300 ℃. Firstly, lay the kiln door, burn the kiln, use pine wood as fuel, provide guidance on pile driving techniques, measure the fire situation, grasp the temperature changes of the kiln, and determine the ceasefire time.

Colored on Variety Shaped Ceramic Cup

Colored glaze colors such as multicolored, pink, etc. are already fired into porcelain patterns on enamel, filled with color, and then baked at low temperature in a red oven at a temperature of about 700-800 ℃. In addition, before entering the kiln, a plain color such as blue and white or underglaze red is painted on the body, which is called underglaze red. Its characteristic is that the glaze color never fades under high temperature.

Glazing

During the glazing process, a regular round mouth is used to dip or polish the glaze, and a knife or a large round tool is used to blow the glaze (the method is to cover the bamboo tube with fine yarn, dip the glaze and blow it with the mouth, and repeat this multiple times to obtain a uniformly thick glaze layer on the surface of the blank).
